Manchester in den 80er Jahren – Eisenbahnschienen, alte Lagerhallen und eine Energie wie keine andere. Legendäre Bands, die später Weltrekorde aufstellten, spielten in überfüllten Clubs, in denen alle und alles zu einer Einheit verschmolzen. Eine Zeit, in der sich die Menschen miteinander verbunden fühlten und in der unvergessliche Nächte mit Tanz, Musik und nächtlichen Späßen das Einzige zu sein schienen, was zählte. Frisch, aromatisch, knackig in der Kopfnote mit Zitrone und Wacholder, dann weich mit reichem, krautigem Thymian und Rosmarin und pudriger Rose. Pinienartige, frische Amyris mit trockener, holziger Zypresse und weicher Zeder runden dann diesen frischen, pinienartigen und aromatischen Duft ab.

Johan Bergelin: Post-industrial Manchester in the 80s: crumbling warehouses and railway archesand an urge for experimentaion. Suddenly, everything came together: the beats, the dance, the substances. The very hub around which everything revolved was, arguably, Factory Records and extended into their groundbreaking clubThe Haçienda. The legendary records label merged talent from the realms of music, art and films to create one of the most significant, and last, youth mivements of the 20th century. Perhaps you even own one of those faded black T-shirts bearing the renowned cover art from Unkown Pleasures, the first album by Joy Division or the best-selling 12 single of all time, Blue Monday by New Order. Iconic bands such as Happy Mondays and Stone Roses also rose to fame and Manchester became Madchester, the center of the universe.“
